• Hello everyone, I really wanted to post this article before, but it wasn't finished ...

In this article I want to show you the drawing and painting techniques I use the most, if you're interested in drawing of course !

First, I want to introduce you : the sketching ! It's a very simple way to draw things.

You just have to put some shadows and to know where you want the light on on your drawing.drawing techniques I use :

This picture shows very well  how you have to proceed.

Next technique is the dry brush, you just need a little piece of paint, and a kleenex.drawing techniques I use :

You just have to put a little bit of paint on your brush and to rub on the kleenex, then apply the brush on the paper. This technique can be very useful for things like portraits.

The "puzzle" technique is very simple to realize, you just have to define the shadow areas and to fill them with the colour you want, at the end, the  drawing can be amazing !drawing techniques I use :

Finally, I want to show you a wonderful technique that can be hard, the basis is to make some stries in the same way with a pen and then to make some stries on the opposite way to create a shading effect. this technique is the less simple of the topic !drawing techniques I use :

  • Day out : book fair in Paris

Yesterday, we went to the Salon du livre.

It was really interesting, we saw books from different culture such as Algeria, Congo, and Martinique.

Laurane and I bought some books.

Laurane bought manga and I bought a book for my father.

The book, I bought for my father is entitled " Xavier, le drame d'un émigré antillais" I chose this book because he asked me me to, and because I know that he likes the man who wrote this book : Tony Delsham.

While I was buying this book for my father, a man gave us a book named " Ganesh, un indien de Calcutta", Laurane and I were really happy of it.

  • Hello, Good afternoon!!!

Today I'm here teach you a new recipe:PANCAKES!!

    To start you need:

    • 100g plain flour
    • 2 eggs
    • 300ml semi-skimmed milk
    • 1 cup of sunflower oil or vegetable, plus extra for frying
    • pinch salt

    1. Blending in the flour: Put the flour and a pinch of salt into a large mixing bowl and make a well in the centre. Crack the eggs into the middle, then pour in about 50ml milk and 1 tbsp oil. Start whisking from the centre, gradually drawing the flour into the eggs, milk and oil. Once all the flour is incorporated, beat until you have a smooth, thick paste. Add a little more milk if it is too stiff to beat.
    2. Finishing the batter: Add a good splash of milk and whisk to loosen the thick batter. While still whisking, pour in a steady stream of the remaining milk. Continue pouring and whisking until you have a batter that is the consistency of slightly thick single cream. Traditionally, people would say to now leave the batter for 30 mins, to allow the starch in the flour to swell, but there’s no need.
    3. Getting the right thickness: Heat the pan over a moderate heat, then wipe it with oiled kitchen paper. Ladle some batter into the pan, tilting the pan to move the mixture around for a thin and even layer. Quickly pour any excess batter into a jug, return the pan to the heat, then leave to cook, undisturbed, for about 30 secs. Pour the excess batter from the jug back into the mixing bowl. If the pan is the right temperature, the pancake should turn golden underneath after about 30 secs and will be ready to turn.
    4. Flipping pancakes: Hold the pan handle, ease a fish slice under the pancake, then quickly lift and flip it over. Make sure the pancake is lying flat against base of the pan with no folds, then cook for another 30 secs before turning out onto a warm plate. Continue with the rest of the batter, serving them as you cook or stack onto a plate. You can freeze the pancakes for 1 month, wrapped in cling film or make them up to a day ahead.

It's a very nice and easy recipe. Try IT!!

  • March 8th , a plane suddenly disapeared. Indeed , the fly between Kuala Lumpur and Bejing disapeared at 00:41. We have no signal since but some sattelites have found some pieces in the Indian Ocean that could be part of the plane.

For the moment , a lot of families especially Chinese families are waiting for the reports missing to come back.

We don't have much informations about this but it reminds us the famous serie L.O.S.T and some people think that it could be same story but in reality. Honestly , I don't believe it. An island that no one knows ? It is good for TV shows.

I hope the plane will find its way or we can find it and its 239 passengers on board.
